what is it we do exactly?

AuraCore is an internet based production group, while animation and graphic design aren't our only focuses, it's been the majority of our activity so far. In the future AuraCore's goal is to move on to creating Flash Games, Web Publications, and full length Animated Movies and Films.

While AuraCore does develop our own set of projects, in the future you may hire AuraCore to help develop your projects. For now however, you may hire us individually.

who can join?

At the moment, AuraCore follows a loose invite-only policy. But don't panic! If you want to join AuraCore to learn/play/eat, you are most welcome! But if you want to join in on some of our projects you'll need to be invited. But what better way to get invited than being in our group!

where did we come from?

AuraCore started back in 2002 as Aura Media. Not as some big design firm, but just as a mockup logo for a photography art project. It was a logo drawn in Fireworks MX by Tarienn, and nothing more.

A few years later, Tarienn decided to make more of the photography based movies he made back in 9th grade. He transfered schools and created an actual group called Aura Media. It was actually just a group of his friends, that ended up not only wasting the entire school year, but also had nothing to show for it. Nothing was actually made and ideas on what to do next were tossed around until Aura Media disbanded.

Tarienn had only the website he created for Aura Media to show for his year of failures and laziness, for which he had designed a flash intro for. He then changed the direction of Aura Media into a flash animation group, based on the internet. The first member he recruited, was WinterWind-NS, then known simply as WinterWind, for his amazing musical talentry and stuff.

As more members were recruited, Aura Media then became Aura Core Multimedia and created its first collab; Speed of Sound. It was received fairly well, and the group went on to make more flash works.

The group has since changed its name to simply AuraCore, and its members have moved on to outside projects while the group went on hiatus after its third production.

After some restructuring, AuraCore is up and running again to bring excellence and awesomeness to the world!
